社會科學研究為知識生產以及專業的基礎，了解各類型的研究方法對於社會工作實務而言是相當重要的。「社會工作研究方法」為三年級上、下學期課程，在這一年的課程中，你將會學習到基礎的社會研究方法，包括：如何系統性地闡述你想要問的研究問題、如何形成假設以及建構研究設計、找出合適的資料收集與分析方式、並且能夠將你的研究呈現給你的受眾。在整個學習過程中，你也會學到研究相關的倫理、如何做出信效度兼具、有品質的研究。在這一學年的課程之後，希望你能夠將學習到的方法運用在你的思考與決策上，並且對與你在未來的社工專業發展上有明顯的助益。
請注意，課程大綱將會依教學進度及學生需求進行調整。另外，課程進行方式將在第一週上課時詳細說明，欲修習此堂課的同學請第一堂課一定要出席。Social science research is the basis for knowledge production and the profession, and understanding various types of research methods is very important for social work practice. "Social Work Research Methods" is a course for the first and second semesters of the third year. In this one-year course, you will learn basic social research methods, including: how to systematically elaborate on the research questions you want to ask, how to Form hypotheses and construct a research design, identify appropriate data collection and analysis methods, and be able to present your research to your audience.
